Waimea Homestead Farmers Market
The market was started by five Hawaiian homestead families in 1992. The focus of the market is fresh locally grown produce mostly organic, flowers, plants and food items that include goat cheese, smoked meat and fish, handmade soap and skin care products, Hawaiian herbal medicines, malasadas, kettle popcorn, Thai food, French crepes, freshly baked breads, croissants, Peruvian tamales, pies, fudge, macadamia nuts, butters, cookies, jams, musubi, anthuriums, orchids, fruit trees, bedding plants and potted herbs and succulents, mushrooms, cookbooks, Kona coffee, Ahualoa grown tea, veal, lamb, barbeque plates, Korean kimchee and delights, omelets made to order, leis, beef jerky, bonsai starts, , lettuce, kales, tomatoes, bananas, papayas, oranges, lemons, lilikoi, mangoes and lychee.
When: Saturdays – 7.00am to 12.00pm

Waimea Town Market
30 vendors offering gourmet meals, fresh baked breads, locally grown produce, fresh-made sausage, honey, herbs, orchids, candy, flowers, massage and crafts and plenty of picnic table where you can eat and converse. The Waimea Town Market has become a favorite Saturday morning gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
When: Saturday – 8.00am to 1.00pm

Kekela Farm Market
The vegetables grown at Kekela Farms in Waimea are just spectacular. Johnston utilizes the windward side weather to grow a full spectrum of organic crops, from lettuces and other greens, to root vegetables, squash, beans, chile peppers, onions and herbs.
Most of the produce grown at Kekela Farm makes it’s way to Big Island’s many restaurants. However, they do sell to the public at the Waimea Town Market (mentioned above) and at their own farm stand on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.

King Shops Farmer’s Market
Fresh produce such as lychee, oranges, avocado, jack fruit, mixed greens, eggplant, spinach, corn and herbs. Other items available include honey, bread, pastry, seafood, coffee, tea, beeswax candles and orchids.

Pahoa / Maku’u Farmer’s Market
Hawaiian crafts, plants, flowers, orchids, fresh tropical fruits and vegetables, mac nuts, eggs, jewelry, shells, ethnic and recycled clothing, fresh desserts, honey, lilikoi juice, local 100% coffee, live music, records/cds and books. Fresh hot food being cooked there (Hawaiian, Thai, Indian, Mexican, Vegetarian …) – approximately 150 vendors.
